Businesses gets GO-ing
Scottish businesses are set to benefit from business training in a bid to boost the local economy.
Businesses will be able to benefit from a series of training courses, designed to address the problems faced by local businesses, as one of the UK’s leading business support agencies, GO Group, launches its support programme.
The training courses are designed to suit businesses of all types and sizes from across Scotland.
Liz Metin, deputy director of Learning and Development at GO Group, believes that the training courses available are vital for businesses trying to survive the credit crunch:
“It’s a fact that over 90% of applications for equity funding in Scotland fail to achieve their objective which means it’s tough, and getting tougher, to secure the cash to drive business growth. Our training courses provide useful tips and practical skills that actually work. We understand that these are testing times for Scottish businesses and are delighted to be able to offer funding support to companies fulfilling certain criteria. We believe that the right training can make a real difference to the success of a business.”
Courses available include the Science of Securing Investment and Managing Credit and Dealing with Debt.
For more information on the training available from GO Group please call 0845 602 1249 or visit www.thegogroup.co.uk
